Josh Gottheimer bought Micron Technology sometime around May 21. By June 18, that position was up 48.8%. That's not a quarterly earnings cycle. That's 28 days. The ink on the disclosure was barely dry before the gain was already embarrassing. These are the five best-performing recent congressional purchases, ranked by return since the trade date. All five are from the last 90 days, so the timing is fresh and the paper trail is short. Aged like wine means the purchases look better the longer you stare at them. Make of that what you will.

Purchase of $MEDP (1K-15K) on 2026-05-15. +12.5% as of 2026-06-12.

David Taylor's Medpace Holdings purchase is up 12.5%, the most modest return on this list. Medpace is a clinical research organization that helps drug companies run trials. Taylor sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees the FDA. The Venn diagram is not two non-overlapping circles.

Purchase of $META ($1,001 - $15,000) on 2026-06-17. +20.0% as of 2026-07-15.

Jared Moskowitz put money into Meta Platforms in mid-June. Four weeks later, up 20%. Meta has spent more on federal lobbying over the past three years than almost any company in tech. Moskowitz bought it anyway, which is allowed, and which is also the point.

Purchase of $ACN ($1,001 - $15,000) on 2026-07-10. +22.7% as of 2026-07-31.

Dan Newhouse bought Accenture on July 10 and was up 22.7% by the end of the month. Accenture is a government IT contractor with federal revenue in the billions. A member of Congress buying a federal contractor is not prohibited. It is, however, a choice.

April McClain Delaney picked up Entegris in late May and was up 36.1% less than a month later. Entegris makes materials for semiconductor fabrication, a sector that has been very much on Congress's legislative calendar. The entry timing is, let's say, efficient.
