Josh Gottheimer bought Monster Beverage in mid-July. By mid-August, the position was down 52%. That's not a bad week. That's a catastrophic quarter, compressed into four weeks, logged in a public filing for everyone to read. These are people who get security briefings, constituent data, and a rotating cast of K Street lobbyists in their office. They still managed to buy five stocks that proceeded to crater. Newhouse grabbed Micron Technology on July 10, down 10.4% by August 7. Semiconductors are volatile, the filings are not, and here we are.

Taylor bought Installed Building Products on September 8 and was underwater 12.3% a week later. Seven days. The trade aged faster than the drywall.

Allen picked up Advanced Micro Devices on July 14. By August 11 it was off 13.5%. AMD has had a rough stretch; Allen managed to find the worst possible entry point in it.
